Brand consultant to New Products and Ventures, the digital product innovation group of The New York Times—creators of NYT Cooking and The New York Times Crossword (online and apps)—which together drive 30% of total digital Times revenue. Provided a cross-functional team with creative strategies to guide 360 brand campaigns, on/off platform marketing, and lifestyle branding.
Created seasonal, direct response social, and print ad campaigns in partnership with Editorial, Marketing, and Media teams. Wrote and recorded journalist read ad spots with Food Editor Sam Sifton for The Daily podcast.
Developed the first visual/verbal brand identity for Crossword since its creation in 1942. Developed out-of-home campaigns, audio ad spots with external podcast partners, and experiential marketing in close coordination with Marketing, Media, Product, and Editorial teams.
